After recently rolling out a new version of its In-Ear headphones, Bose is now trotting out its first single-ear Bluetooth headset: The Bose Bluetooth headset.
The headset features the same StayHear tips found in its latest In-Ear headphones and, according to the company, has a unique design and interface that makes call control "easier than ever before". As we've come to expect from Bose announcements, the press release touts the engineering that went into the product.
The Bose Bluetooth headset is engineered with a microphone built into specially designed housing," the company says. "This proprietary design enables the microphone to selectively sense the user's voice, and acoustically reject background sounds that interfere with it--so the caller is heard more, and distractions are heard less."
Now that Bose has improved the design of its In-Ear headphones (they actually stay in your ears now), we think Bose's Bluetooth headset should be comfortable to wear. Alas, at US$149.95, this guy isn't cheap, but it should appeal to the same crowd who buys Bose's noise-canceling headphones.
The Bose Bluetooth headset includes a protective case and three ear-tip sizes (small, medium, large) and will ship in late November.
