how to change the font of Nokia 5800 XM
how to change the font of Nokia 5800 XM?

if you want to change your Nokia 5800 font, here is the step by step and i guarantee it will works for your phones too.
Some requirements:
•A file manager for S60v5 (i recomend Lonely Cat Games X-plore)
•Card reader, data cable or bluetooth
•Some .ttf font collection
•And a cup of coffee
Here is the step to change your Nokia 5800 font:
1.Open X-plore, go to configuration menu and tick “show hidden files and system folders” option.
2.Go to z:/resource/fonts folder and write down all file names on that folder (different firmware is using different file names too, my own is S60SC.ccc, S60TCHK.ccc and S60ZDIGI.ttf).
3.Make a three copy of your new font and rename it as you found on step 2 (three copy of arial.ttf to S60SC.ccc, S60TCHK.ccc and S60ZDIGI.ttf).
4.Connect your phone or memory card to your computer.
5.Go to e:/resource (memory card) and make a new folder called “Fonts”.
6.Send all your custom fonts in step 3 into that new folder (it must be e:/resource/fonts/S60SC.ccc, S60TCHK.ccc and S60ZDIGI.ttf).
7.Restart and you have the font changed!
If you want to test my custom fonts, click here to download.
Notes! This tutorial is not only for Nokia 5800 XM, but also covers almost all S60v3 phones. The key is on step 2!
Here is the step to delete a custom font and use Nokia 5800 default font:
1.Connect your phone or memory card to your computer.
2.Go to e:/resource (memory card) and delete a folder called “Fonts”.
3.Restart and you have the font changed back to default one!
Sorry i doesn’t have any screenshot for this tutorial, but trust me it works. Let me know if you have any problem, just leave a comment below.Share This Post on Twitter Just Click Tweet Button
