how to get smiley's on Nokia 5230. It seems like A-SMS is not yet supporting this phone ?

There is an option, if you are happy to use the ovi store.
Last week a new version of the A-SMS app was added exclusively to the ovi store and it is compatible with the 5230. http://store.ovi.com/content/23949?clickSource=search
