Samsung jet or S8300 ultratouch

A relative is trying to decide between there two phones (samsung jet & s8300 ultra touch). it's mainly going to be used as a phone/sms/mms but a decent camera is also a priority. No internet.

The jet is the cheapest of those two, but s8300 got the best cam, which of those two would you choose in this situation? Is the s8300 worth more?

Do NOT under any circumstance get a sidekick. I would go with either a blackberry or the my touch. T-Mobile has a bunch of phones that are the same when it comes down to it. The My Touch is their version of the iPhone and it works really well.
