6300 nokia keypad code error

I was trying to put a keypad code on my 6300. but each combination I enter I always get the message "code error". what the problem is?

changed the code in that menu you said. Now its workin fine like a charm. If its possible, you could tell the designers at Nokia to make such things more obvious in the manuals or less complicated or something like that in cases of future phones.

6300 nokia stop ringing

6300 has stopped ringing when called. it do vibrates. like it it is in permanent silent mode. It does beep when I input numbers via keypad.. recently done a firmware update.

check out your profiles and see if a profile went into silent, meeting or such instead of general. if it is different then change it to general if it is on general look through every category as something could have just checked/unchecked itself in terms of sound. now when you are talking over the phone the mic actually works right? you can hear users its just a matter of ringing tone that is an issue?Share This Post on Twitter Just Click Tweet Button

software update 6300 nokia

mine 6300 is having s/w version v06.01. I am trying to update it on air using gprs connection its giving messege " no software update available". Where in nokia web site its showing current software version for 6300 is v06.60. Can any one tell me how to update my phone to its latest version of s/w.
